APC Infrastructure Climate Risk Assessment

The Challenge — The assessment combined engineering terminology, risk matrices and geographic data that had to stay precise for technical reviewers while remaining legible to policy readers — two audiences with opposite reading habits.

The Approach — I separated the two reading paths structurally: technical annexes on a dense grid with full citations, and a policy-facing body built around risk maps and summary diagrams. Every visual was versioned with the underlying data so late-stage figure changes never broke the document.

The Solution — A dual-audience assessment report delivered in print and screen versions, whose map and matrix treatments became the visual reference for the programme’s later publications.
